Abstract
Typical errors of the approximate semi-analytic method of calculating the initial stage of condensation (nucleation), proposed by Yu.P Raize r, are estimated by comparison with the numerical solution of the kine tic equation. A concrete problem is used as an example to estimate the effect of the particle heating, which is due to the liberation in the se particles of the latent heat of condensation, on the basic characte ristics of the condensed phase formed from a vapor-gas mixture.
