F. Haddad et al., FROM FISSION TO SCATTERING IN THE MO-100(18.7MEV U)+MO-100 REACTION WITHIN A MICROSCOPIC DYNAMIC APPROACH/, Nuclear physics. A, 572(2), 1994, pp. 459-476
A study of the transition from fission to deep-inelastic and quasi-ela
stic reactions in heavy ion collisions at intermediate energies is per
formed in the framework of a microscopic semi-classical one-body appro
ach (Landau-Vlasov transport equation). A qualitative as well as quant
itative study of phenomena occurring in this energy range is carried o
ut and comparisons are made with experimental results focusing on the
Mo + Mo reaction at 18.7 MeV/u. On the ground of dynamical information
given by the microscopic approach, an investigation of the sequential
production of fragments is realized within a complementary analysis b
ased on the macroscopic liquid-drop model approach.
