Abstract
An investigation into the correlation between stress induced by adhesi ve bonding in wound cores and the effect on the domain structure is pr esented. Increases in power loss of up to 70% at a flux density of 1.7 T, 50 Hz are found in toroids after the application of adhesive. Inve stigations on dynamic domain motion showed that the amount of wall bow ing was almost doubled at an overall flux density of 1.0 T, 50 Hz unde r the influence of the stress induced by the adhesive.
