The irreversible structure relaxation of the amorphous near-zero magne
tostrictive Co71.5Fe2.5Mn2Mo1Si9B14 alloy was studied by means of the
isothermal magnetic after-effect of the initial permeability (disaccom
modation) and isothermal dilatometric measurements. Studies were perfo
rmed at T = 379-520 K in the time interval between t1 = 1 s and t2 = 2
-25000 s. Assuming first-order kinetics of the relaxation process, the
changes of the normalized variations of the MAE and the isothermal sh
rinkage are described. The distributions of activation energies P(Q) w
ere evaluated by the Hesse-Rubartsch method. Three-mode spectra of the
activation energies were obtained, which point to the existence of th
ree different relaxation processes.
