Abstract
The effect of thermal fatigue of steam generator pipe material on the Barkhausen noise is investigated by the acoustic emission method. Powe r, zero crossing rate, frequency characteristics, and the Hurst expone nt were investigated in this analysis. As a result, it is found that t he Hurst exponent is the most effective parameter to distinguish the p rogress of the fatigue.
