Abstract
In order to evaluate the efficacy of a regimen using the dose -intensi ty of platinum compounds combined with 5 - FU we included 27 patients with advanced oesophageal cancer. Toxicity was mainly hematological bu t manageable. This regimen seems interesting in neoadjuvant and pallia tive circumstances (objective overall response of 85 % and 70 % respec tively).
