R. Maran et al., PREDOMINANCE OF THE SUBCLASS IGGL AMONG T HE ANTI-RO SSA ANTIBODIES, BUT NOT AMONG THE ANTI-LA SSB ANTIBODIES IN PRIMARY GOUGEROT-SJOGREN SYNDROME, La Revue de medecine interne, 14(6), 1993, pp. 446-446
Isotype-specific enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays have been develope
d to assess anti-Ro/SSA and anti-La/SSB IgG subclasses in 31 patients
with primary Sjogren's syndrome. The anti-Ro/SSA antibody production w
as largely restricted to IgG1, whilst the anti-La/SSB subclass distrib
ution varied from one patient to another. IgG2 and IgG3 anti-La/SSB we
re more frequent in those patients with extraglandular complications.
