Abstract
Peripheral vascular manifestations of pseudoxanthoma elasticum (pxe) : report of five cases. PXE is a rare heritable discorder of connective tissue. The cardiovascular lesions are less clearly defined than the skin and eye lesions. They can manifest at an early age and can be the first sign of the disease (3 cases). They may remain silent (3 cases) but they may be severe and at times fatal (1 case).
