Abstract
Eleven patients with active recent inflammatory myopathy (6DM/5PM) wer e treated by IVIG in first choice Significant clinical improvement was noted in 3 out of the 11 patients. IVIG therapy in first intention ca n be discussed especially in patients with contra-indication of steroi ds.
