Abstract
Seven non haemophilic patients with acquired Factor VIll inhibitor wer e treated as first line therapy with a cyclophosphamide - prednisone c ombination. In 6 patients complete suppression of the inhibitor was ob served within 9 to 60 days. Relapses occurred in two patients and this treatment was again successfull. In the 7th patient a significant dec rease of the inhibitor was observed allowing porcine Factor VIII repla cement therapy if desired.
