Abstract
The distribution of ions around SDS micelles according to the nonlinea rized Poisson-Boltzmann equation with cylindrical symmetry, has been s tudied. The calculated results show that cylindrical symmetry gives a good explanation for the experimental fraction of micellar head groups neutralized by ions obtained from conductivity measurements.
