Thin-film copper indium diselenide was prepared by selenization of cop
per indium oxide deposited by spray pyrolysis of an aqueous solution c
ontaining copper and indium salts. The degree of reproducibility in th
ickness, composition and electrical parameters was found to be good. T
he electrical parameters could be controlled and tuned for photovoltai
c applications reproducibly by means of this cost-efficient fabricatio
n technique.
