Abstract
Recently Gien reported substantial resonance structure in the S-wave c ross sections for positron-hydrogen scattering calculated in the Ps(1s ) + H(1s, 2pBAR) approximation. We show that these structures are unre al and are the result of a further approximation adopted by Gien in wh ich the 2pBAR channel is not allowed to open.
