Abstract
(CO)-C-12(J=1-0) and (CO)-C-13(J=1-0) observations are carried out tow
ard a protostellar candidate, IRAS 22134+5834, using the new 4 m milli
meter telescope at Nagoya University. A molecular cloud is found aroun
d the IRAS point source, of which molecular mass is estimated to be ap
proximately 70 M.. Both of the (CO)-C-12 and (CO)-C-13 distributions s
how a good spatial correlation with the IRAS point source, indicating
that the cloud is likely to be associated with the IRAS source. A mole
cular outflow is discovered at the position of the IRAS point source.
Physical properties such as the mass and the momentum of the outflow a
re derived. The momentum of the outflow is compared with that of the m
olecular cloud. Results of the comparison imply that the outflow is li
kely supplying momentum large enough to prevent the cloud from collaps
ing.
