Abstract
Converses of matrix inequalities corresponding to ratios and differenc es of means are extended to the positive semidefinite case. This is do ne by the use of generalized inverses of powers of positive semidefini te matrices. Similar extensions for converses of matrix forms of Holde r's inequality are also given.
