Abstract
Organic pi-electron conjugated conducting polymers of aniline and pyrr ole have been prepared under different polymerization conditions in ni trogen gas. The results of magnetic susceptibility and electrical cond uctivity measurements have been explained on the basis of polaron-pola ron interaction between neighbouring chains leading to the formation o f spinless charged states and spinless dipolar charge carrier, or bipo larons.
