Abstract
A revised version of Rossler's dual principle is used to realize a geo metrical mechanism for chaos generation. The resulting mathematical mo del is a singularly perturbed-system with three time scales. The syste m is then used to mimic the glucose-induced electrical activity of pan creatic beta-cells.
