Abstract
The MO(x) pseudobinary phase diagrams with M = YBa2Cu3 or YBa2Cu4 show the temperature and oxygen partial pressure required to synthesize co mpounds with defined oxygen content x, to grow single crystals or to o ptimize the melt texture process from the Y2BaCuO5 + melt or Y4Ba3O9 melt phase assemblages.
