Abstract
To establish a standard method for producing experimental cutaneous in juries caused by contact with corrosive liquids, we modified an appara tus and method recommended by Walker and Mason in 1967 to produce expe rimental thermal burns. The resulting procedure proved to be safe, rep roducible, humane and efficient and can be used with a wide variety of corrosive liquids.
