Abstract
In this work the Possibility of production of a long wire from HTSC ma terial of composition YBa2Cu3O7-delta by extrusion of thermoplastic ma s under pressure has been shown. The temperature of the transition of the material to the superconducting state is 93 K. It was found that the use of paraffin as a plasticizer does not influence significantly the character of the transition to the superconducting state. The effe ct of the introduction of a plasticizer can be fully eliminated by tho rough selection of the conditions of conducting the thermal treatment of articles.
