Abstract
The radiolysis of poly(vinyl butyral) films containing fluoresceine an d chloral hydrate was studied. The acid form of fluoresceine was shown to be produced in the films upon irradiation. This process leads to a color change of the films and the appearance of luminescence, making it possible to use these films for dosimetric purposes.
