Abstract
We present a case of plexiform neurofibromatosis involving the ileum a nd its mesentery Computed tomography (CT) scans showed a cluster of sm all soft-tissue density nodules, which represented a cross-sectional i mage of the enlarged peripheral nerves and wall thickening of the dist al ileum. Trapped fat tissue was demonstrated between these enlarged n erves. Histopathologic studies of the resected specimen correlated wel l with CT findings.
