Abstract
A two dimensional transient analytical model was developed to study an d evaluate high temperature phase change thermal energy storage system s for space applications. Parametric studies were performed in older t o assess the effects of various thermal and geometric parameters on th e heat transfer process and on the performance of the energy storage s ystem. Studies were also conducted to evaluate the effects of these pa rameters on the cyclic heating and cooling modes of the system. Copyri ght (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
