Abstract
The asymptotic behaviour of the wave functions of many-electron atoms is considered for the case when one electron is in the far subbarrier region and other ones are in the main region of the motion. The propos ed method gives the possibility of determining the asymptotics with an accuracy corresponding to that of the quantum-chemical calculation fo r the main region.
