Abstract
Exposure of cats to analgesics, anti-inflammatories, anti-infective ag ents, antineoplastics, disinfectants, and miscellaneous drugs are expl ored. Dogs and cats and other animals have similar receptors for drug actions (i.e., alpha receptors, steroid receptors, etc.), and the drug absorption and distribution is similar between them. Drug metabolism, however, can be significantly different in the cat and thus can affec t its elimination or elimination of metabolites.
