Abstract
Permeabilities of tartrazine for different composite membranes were ob tained by tracer diffusion experiments. C-14-labeled tartrazine was sy nthesized from C-14-aniline hemisulfate and tartaric acid. The composi te membranes under investigation consisted of cellulose acetate or pol yethersulfone supported by polypropylene membrane backings.
