Abstract
Robust gas sensors are needed for industrial on-line analysis of gas m ixtures. Most of these sensors are nonlinear and nonselective. Differe nt mathematical methods for determination of the gas concentrations in mixtures from sensor output signals are discussed and evaluated. As a n example the analysis of a ternary gas mixture with the aid of an aco ustic sensor and a thermal one is considered.
