Abstract
This letter proposes a high speed multifiber connector assembly method , which uses UV-curable adhesive and which does not require a polishin g process, thus reducing the connector assembly time. It is confirmed that the assembly time can be reduced to less than half the time requi red with the conventional assembly method. The multifiber connectors a ssembled using this method have a low connection loss and stable mecha nical characteristics.
