Abstract
Omphalina umbellifera should be typified, in accordance with Fries's c
oncept of the name, by the Rudbeck illustration. This is achieved by u
sing the only element known to have been available to Linnaeus when he
first described the taxon he later named Agaricus umbelliferus.
