We have studied the effect of the composition of semiconductor materia
l based on Sn1-xSbxO2 solutions on the sensitivity of semiconductor ga
s sensors (the ratio of the conductivity of the sensitive element in t
he presence of gas to its conductivity in air). We have shown that the
sensitivity of the sensors increases when the Sb concentration in the
semiconductor decreases. We have established that sensors containing
solid solutions with 0.001 less than or equal to x less than or equal
to 0.01 have optimal sensitivity.
