Abstract
The oxidation reactions of aromatic 3,3-sigmatropic systems have been investigated under different conditions viz., (a) anodic oxidation in amphiprotic and aprotic media, (b) reaction with (diacetoxyiodo)benzen e and (c) reaction promoted by eerie ammonium nitrate.
