Abstract
A cross-section potential is used to investigate the pressure dependen ce of vertical phases of Langmuir monolayers. An isobaric-isothermal e nsemble is simulated using Monte-Carlo techniques. The results reprodu ce a nearly vertical phase boundary between high pressure phases of fa tty acid monolayers.
