Abstract
We report the first study of time-resolved third-order non-linear opti cal susceptibilities X(3) of Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) films formed with ZnP(N+C22)4/H2PcTS4-. Chi(3) of LB films was investigated by non-degen erate four-wave mixing techniques with femtosecond time resolution. Th e LB film was excited at 620 nm and probed at 650 nm. This porphyrin-p hthalocyanine mixed dimer has a chi(3) with three temporal components related to three excited state populations.
