Abstract
The ground state rotational spectrum of CH3CF3 was measured from 190 G Hz, J = 18, up to 910 GHz, J = 87 and K = 63. These measurements allow us to determine accurate molecular constants, including the three sex tic centrifugal distortion constants: H(J), H(JK), and H(KJ). For high -J values, a splitting of the K = 3 lines was observed and the splitti ng constant h3 could be determined. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
