Abstract
Background: Previous investigations of antinuclear antibody (ANA) prev alence in patients undergoing PUVA therapy reported contrasting result s. However, ANA tests were performed on low-sensitivity substrates tha t do not allow investigation of anti-Re (SS-A) antibodies.
