W. Uhlig, BENZYLIDENE AND METHYLENE-BIS-SILYLTRIFLA TES AS NEW SYNTHETIC MATERIALS FOR ORGANOSILICON POLYMERS, Zeitschrift fur Naturforschung. B, A journal of chemical sciences, 49(5), 1994, pp. 609-614
The title compounds have been prepared by reaction of phenyl-, allyl-
or amino-substituted disilylmethanes and disilylphenylmethanes with tr
ifluoromethanesulfonic acid. New organosilicon oligomers and polymers
are obtained in good yields and high purities from these silyltriflate
s and lithium acetylides, triphenylgermyllithium or diphenylsilanediol
/triethylamine. In these compounds the carbosilane units are connected
by alkyne or siloxane bridges. The structures have been confirmed by
NMR spectroscopy (Si-29, C-13, H-1) and elemental analysis.
