Abstract
Potentiometric and spectroscopic (EPR, absorption and CD spectra) stud ies were performed for Cu(II) complexes with methionine containing dip eptides. Met was shown to behave as weakly co-ordinating side chain vi a its thiosulphur donor. Although side chain metal interactions are ra ther weak their impact on complex stability and possible structure is clearly seen.
