Ma. Continentino et Md. Coutinho, SCALING CLOSE TO A MOTT TRANSITION IN AN EXACTLY SOLUBLE MODEL, Solid state communications, 90(10), 1994, pp. 619-622
An exactly soluble model of correlated electrons, presenting a metal-i
nsulator transition due to correlations, is investigated from the poin
t of view of the theory of quantum critical phenomena. The exponents c
haracterizing the Mott transition are obtained and we show they are re
lated by scaling laws. For the present model the density driven and fi
xed density Mott transitions turn out to be in the same universality c
lass. We generalize the model to describe a system of interacting boso
ns and obtain the exact zero temperature phase diagram.
