Abstract
This article looks at the position of Social Insurance Coordinator as an integral part of a dialysis center's business and social service of fices. Without an individual committed to the percepts of this positio n, it is likely that a number of patients would not only experience la pses in their funding but also would be without a perceptible means of accessing the mechanisms necessary to assure consistent reimbursement . This position can be influential in both facilitating the funding ne eds of end-stage renal disease patients and, at the same time, serving the patient oversight requirements of the dialysis treatment organiza tion. Cost-benefit principles are explored.
