Abstract
In the present paper we calculate exactly the average squared displace ment (ASD) of a tagged bead of a harmonic polymer chain in a system wi th random, layered convection flows. We show that the ASD exhibits an anomalous behavior; its dependence on time is stronger for long than f or short chains. We present also an explanation for this effect.
