K. Scholz et al., CLASSIFICATION OF ELECTRODE GLASSES INCLUDING STRUCTURAL PARAMETERS, Fresenius' journal of analytical chemistry, 349(1-3), 1994, pp. 257-258
Cluster Analysis has been shown to be partially suitable for the class
ification of glasses. The expansion of the clusters on the Seger's dia
gram allows an investigation of the influence of the different glass c
omponents. Variation of the SiO2 content results in a smaller change o
f properties than variation of the Na2O/RO relationship. Principal Com
ponent Analysis is convenient for showing correlations between the com
position of the examined glasses, the glass structure parameters, and
the different electrode properties.
