Abstract
The spectrum of the collective excitations of a magnetoplasma, confine d in a quasi-one-dimensional quantum-well wire is analyzed. The disper sion relations of the intrasubband and intersubband magnetoplasmons ca lculated with excellent agreement to experimental results. The calcula tions are done in the random-phase approximation with no further simpl ifying approximation. We find analytical results for the dispersion re lations of the intrasubband and intersubband magnetoplasmons.
