Abstract
The temperature dependence of the interlayer exchange coupling field H (ex) and the effective anisotropy field H(eff) within ferromagnetic la yers was investigated for Co/Ru/Co trilayer structures using the angul ar dependence of ferromagnetic resonance (FMR). It was found that both H(ex), and H(eff) increase with decreasing temperature. The dependenc e of H(ex) on temperature follows roughly the relationship H(ex)is-pro portional-to(T/T0) sinh(T/T0) predicted by Edwards et al., and the cha racteristic temperature T0 decreases with increasing Ru spacer thickne ss as predicted.
