Al. Dawson et Dh. Ryan, A MAGNETOCALORIMETRIC STUDY OF SPIN FLUCTUATIONS IN AMORPHOUS FEXZR100-X, Journal of applied physics, 75(10), 1994, pp. 6837-6839
Low temperature calorimetry data on amorphous FexZr100-x samples near
the ferromagnetic/paramagnetic phase boundary at x=37.5 are reported,
as well as some magnetocalorimetry data in magnetic fields of up to 5
T. The data are analyzed in terms of two models, one describing the ef
fect of spin fluctuations (SF) and the other the effect of superparama
gnetic clusters. The data are shown to favor the SF model and taken wi
th earlier resistivity work, provides convincing evidence for the exis
tence of SF in a-FexZr100-x.
