Abstract
Dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency is a genetic disorder in which af fected patients cannot synthesize norepinephrine and epinephrine, in e ither the central or peripheral nervous system. Identification and tre atment of this novel human physiological disorder will continue to lea d to better understanding of the role of catecholamines in human physi ology.
