Abstract
Four patients with inflammatory tumor-like lesions of the orbit are re ported. In three patients, the lesion was the first manifestation of a systemic disease (malignant lymphoma in two cases and Wegener's granu lomatosis in one). A general discussion of these lesions is provided. Emphasis is put on the need to look for an underlying systemic disease .
