The authors report a case of lichen planus pemphigoides (LPP) in which
a complete immunopathological study was carried ut including indirect
immuno-fluorescence on salt-split skin, indirect immuno-electromicros
copy and immunoblottinq detection of the The LPP described here exhibi
ted the same characteristics as those observed in bullous pemphigoid,
with the presence of autoantibodies to the 230 and 180 kDa BP antigens
. conclude that LPP corresponds to the association of two diseases, li
chen planus and bullous pemphigoid.
