Abstract
We report a case of acute Q fever with livedo reticularis. The investi gations showed a circulating antiprothrombinase anticoagulant. We disc uss the mechanism responsible for the presence of this hemostatic diso rder. The presence of livedo in febrile situation, with or without cir culating anticoagulant, infers Coxiella burnetii infection.
