Abstract
Spinodal decomposition has been simulated in two spatial dimensions fo r ternary polymer mixtures over a wide range of volume fractions and F lory-Huggins interaction parameters. A great wealth of morphologies wa s observed: some closely approximate morphologies seen in cast film ex periments, while others invite experimental confirmation. A taxonomy o f phase structures is proposed.
