Magnetic measurements and neutron diffraction experiments have been pe
rformed on polycrystalline U2(Ru0.65Rh0.35)3Si5. This silicide crystal
lizes in the monoclinic Lu2Co3Si5-type structure and orders antiferrom
agnetically below T(N) = 9.5(5) K. The magnetic structure consists of
ferromagnetic 'wavy planes' antiferromagnetically coupled. It exhibits
some similarities with those determined for URh2Si2 and URu2Si2. Impo
rtant Kondo interactions are suggested in accordance with the small ur
anium magnetic moment (0.63(16)mu(B)) observed at 1.5 K.
